Below is version 11 of the animatic for "Strumming to Your Own Beat".

This week, I made a lot of progress and I actually completed my weeklies! Unfortunately, I was not on-time for the submission of the assignment (I missed it by a minute!), but overall I am very happy with my progress. Although I can't quite say I am ahead, my amount of productivity has drastically changed from how I was doing over the past few weeks. I only have three shots still in the animatic stage, but I am happy to say that started on them immediately after submitting my weeklies this week.

My most notable weekly accomplishment is that I managed to use deformers on the guitar for Shot 28 (shown above!) as opposed to using joints to set up the rig. I didn't think that this would work and I had to try quite a few methods to get the movement I was looking for, but I think the result is relatively decent. I am also very happy with shot 16, which I worked quite extensively on as you can see in the above animatic!

Overall, this week has helped me feel like I am finally back on track, and I am glad to say I am feeling a lot more enthusiastic about my senior film.
